The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, is a corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Burnt Orange with CMYK color attributes 17 62 100 6. It is a warm and vibrant color that visually has a shiny finish. Burnt Orange is symbolic of vital energy, power, passion, and enthusiasm. It combines well with cool tones such as dark blue, dark green, gray, and black, creating a harmonious contrast.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The fabric texture is soft with a velvety appearance. Its durability is high, and its wear resistance is good.
Among the general characteristics, the versatility of uses and applications of the base fabric and its solid color stands out, such as textiles for decoration, upholstery, fashion, and accessories. In particular, for decoration, it is used in the manufacture of cushions, baskets, and upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas. In fashion, it is suitable for making pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, and bags.
The care instructions for the base fabric must be considered for proper conservation: do not bleach, do not expose to temperatures above 30ºC, do not dry clean except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The fabric is printed using sublimation technology (polyester), which allows for excellent color fixation, high resolution, the possibility of printing complex designs, low amounts of toxic waste, and sharp, uniform printing across the entire fabric.
