The Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. The plain printed color is a dark onyx gray with a CMYK of 71 58 55 62. This color conveys elegance and sophistication and pairs especially well with light colors like whites and creams, or with vibrant colors like yellows and oranges. Its worth noting that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which makes the color vibrant and long-lasting.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, it is soft to the touch and has a shiny appearance on its surface. The most common applications and uses for this fabric are decoration and upholstery for seats, sofas, and armchairs, as well as the creation of fashion garments such as pants, jackets, and bags. Additionally, it is also used in the manufacturing of home accessories and cushions for bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens.
It is important to keep in mind some specific care instructions for this fabric, such as not bleaching and washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Furthermore, the garment does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature. The use of a dryer should also be avoided.
Finally, its worth noting that the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process that involves transferring ink onto a surface through heat and pressure, which ensures good color fixation and high print quality.
