The base fabric for this material is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a type of corduroy composed of 85% POLYESTER, 12% POLYAMIDE, and 3% ELASTANE. It has a grammage of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It stands out for its soft touch and visual brilliance. The solid color printed on this fabric is Raspberry Ice Red, with a cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink combination of 38, 63, 37, and 23 respectively. This secondary color is notable for its intense and bright red hue, with a slightly pinkish undertone, which pairs perfectly with colors like white, black, light pink, or olive green.
It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is a single-sided printed fabric, not dyed. Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric stands out for its softness to the touch, comfort, and resistance, making it ideal for fashion and decoration uses. On the other hand, the printed solid color is characterized by its brilliance and fade resistance.
In terms of applications and uses for this fabric, it is notably used in the decoration and upholstery of chairs, sofas, and armchairs, as well as in fashion for making pants, overshirts, blazers, jackets, vests, bags, and backpacks. It can also be used for making cushions and baskets in different areas of the home, such as the kitchen, bedroom, and living room.
It is important to note that the fabric requires certain care to maintain its optimal condition, such as no bleaching, no dry cleaning, ironing at low temperatures, and avoiding the use of a dryer.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology (polyester), a printing process where the image is transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure, ensuring a durable fixation of the design to the fabric.
