The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, is a corduroy with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on the fabric is an intense red with a CMYK of 5 87 82 0, called CG red. CG red is a symbolic color of passion, energy, and dynamism, and technically it is an intense color with great saturation power.
This color combines especially well with dark and neutral tones, such as black, brown, or gray, and with vibrant and warm colors like orange or yellow.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing and is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The base fabric is soft to the touch and has a velvety and shiny texture. The printed solid color, for its part, has great intensity and brilliance, and merges perfectly with the texture of the base fabric.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are furniture decoration, upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas, with a wide presence in fashion in garments such as pants, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, vests, overshirts, accessories such as bags and backpacks, and in home textiles, specifically in cushions and baskets.
It is important to note that this fabric must be treated with delicacy and specific care, avoiding bleach and dry cleaning, ironing with cold temperature, and ensuring not to tumble dry.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is carried out exclusively on polyester fabrics. Sublimation allows for the precise and detailed transfer of the design, with high image definition and brightness of the printed color.
