The base fabric Corduroy Velveteen - Dublin is a corduroy type and is composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, its plain printed color is Vermilion Red with a CMYK of 7 89 96 1. This color is an intense and vibrant red tone that evokes passion and dynamism. It perfectly combines with neutral tones such as white or black and with earthy tones such as brown or beige.
The fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, which means that the design is printed directly onto the fabric surface in high definition and with great detail. This technology allows for a wide variety of designs and colors, enabling the creation of unique combinations.
The fabrics texture is soft and has a velvety finish that makes it ideal for decoration and upholstery. On the other hand, the plain printed color has a bright finish that adds a touch of distinction.
Among the fabrics characteristics, its durability, resistance, and great comfort upon skin contact stand out. For the plain printed color, its most notable attributes are its resistance to wear and fading, which guarantees a vibrant and fresh appearance for a long time.
This fabric is mainly used for decorating and upholstering chairs, sofas, cushions, among others. It is also ideal for making garments such as pants, overshirts, jackets, and accessories like bags and backpacks.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and wash it at maximum temperatures of 30ºC. The garment does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene and can only be ironed at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it is not advisable to tumble dry it.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves printing the ink onto transfer paper, which is then placed in contact with the fabric, and heat and pressure are applied to transfer the design to the fabric. This ensures high precision in the reproduction of designs and colors.
