The base fabric of this textile is Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is Faded Green, and its CMYK is 65 31 72 14. This color is characterized by being a dark green with brown undertones, symbolizing nature in its stage of decay. It pairs well with gold, terracotta, beige tones, and also with brighter tones such as turquoise and electric blue.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The texture and feel of the velveteen corduroy fabric are especially soft, and its visual sheen adds a touch of elegance and sophistication.
On the other hand, Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin is a versatile fabric that can be used for various applications, from interior decoration (upholstering furniture such as chairs, armchairs, or sofas, as well as for making cushions or baskets) to fashion (for making trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, or handbags). Furthermore, thanks to its composition and weight, it can be used both in winter and during transitional seasons.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. The garment does not allow dry cleaning, but it does allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble-dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which ensures defined image quality, without wrinkles or flaking, and with a uniform and long-lasting color. In short, Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin is a versatile, resistant, and elegant fabric, printed with a plain color that conveys the beauty and decay of nature in a single glance.
