The base fabric of this textile is Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. It has a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Lufthansa Blue with a CMYK of 80 61 0 0. This shade of blue has a strong and vibrant personality, making it ideal for projects that aim to reflect energy and passion. It pairs very well with warm tones such as orange or yellow, and can also be used with other cool colors like gray and white to achieve a harmonious blend.
It is important to note that the base fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. The fabric has a soft touch and a brilliant appearance.
Among the characteristics of the base fabric, its soft texture and brilliant visual appearance stand out. Furthermore, this fabric is highly versatile in its use and allows for multiple applications, such as furniture decoration, upholstery for chairs, armchairs, sofas, as well as garments like pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, or vests.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, as well as not to tumble dry but to dry clean except with trichloroethylene. Additionally, it can be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be machine-dried.
Finally, it is worth noting that the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique allows the printed color to penetrate deeply into the fabrics fibers, making it resistant to washing and the passage of time.
