The base fabric is Glasgow cloth, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. The solid printed color is copper red, with a CMYK of 24 67 63 14. It is a warm and vibrant color, symbolizing passion and energy. Additionally, it pairs very well with earthy and golden tones, providing a sophisticated and elegant touch to any garment or accessory. This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for high image quality and great durability.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness and pleasant feel. Glasgow cloth is ideal for making coats, jackets, and trench coats, as well as for crafting home accessories such as coasters or kitchen towels. Furthermore, being a resistant fabric, it is perfect for uses that require durability and wear resistance.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it, not to dry clean it, to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, to iron at a warm temperature, and not to use a dryer to avoid deformation.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring ink from paper to fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures high image quality and allows the ink to penetrate deeply into the fabric fibers, providing great durability and wear resistance.
