Description

The base fabric of the weave is Paño Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on the fabric is Watermelon Red, with a CMYK: 7 99 81 1. This vibrant color is presented as an intense red, with a touch of pink and a hue reminiscent of the fruit it is named after. It combines excellently with other vibrant colors such as orange, yellow, or turquoise, as well as with more subdued tones, such as grey or black. It is important to note that the base fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the solid color is present only on the right side.

As general characteristics, the base fabric is soft to the touch, presenting a pleasant texture that provides comfort in its use. In addition, its elasticity allows for the confection of garments with a good fit to the body. Regarding the solid printed color, its high saturation guarantees that the color will remain lively and vibrant even after multiple washes.

In terms of its applications and uses, Paño Glasgow is mainly used for making winter and autumn clothing, especially for coats, jackets, and blazers for both women and men. It is also commonly used in home textiles, for making coasters and kitchen towels.

The care for this fabric is simple, but it is important to follow them to ensure its proper preservation. It should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, the garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, it should be ironed at a warm temperature, and tumble drying is not possible.

The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This printing method is carried out using a digital printer that applies high-temperature ink to sublimation paper, which is then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process allows the color to integrate into the fabric fibers in a durable way, achieving a soft and resistant finish.
