The base fabric is Paño Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a cherry red, with a CMYK of 20 70 22 2, where magenta is predominant. This color symbolizes passion and strength, with a touch of elegance. It combines very well with dark colors such as black or gray, as well as with earthy colors such as brown or beige.
The base fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side using textile digital printing. Its texture is soft to the touch, thanks to the combination of polyester, viscose, and elastane. This fabric is ideal for winter and autumn/winter 2021 garments, such as coats, trench coats, jackets, vests, blazers, and blousons, as well as for home textiles such as coasters or kitchen towels.
It is important to note that Glasgow fabric is not suitable for dry cleaning and cannot be tumble dried. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a warm temperature.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation on polyester. Sublimation is a digital printing technique that uses a special ink that turns into vapor when applied to hot fabric, producing vibrant and durable colors. In addition, sublimation produces no toxic waste and is more sustainable than other printing techniques.
