Description

The base fabric is a Glasgow cloth made of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. Its weight is 380 gr/m2, and its width is 150 cm. The solid printed color is a charming pink with a CMYK of 7 55 13 0. This secondary color combines perfectly with neutral and light shades, such as white, beige, or gray, providing a touch of elegance and subtlety.

The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for high image quality and a high level of detail in the design. The printing is done directly on the fabric fibers, which guarantees long-lasting color durability.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft texture and its great capacity for warmth, making it ideal for making coats, trench coats, jackets, or blazers. In addition, it can also be used for manufacturing coasters or kitchen towels, thanks to its good stain resistance and easy cleaning.

Among the applications and uses of Glasgow cloth, its use for altars in the religious sphere stands out, as well as in home textiles to create warm and cozy environments. In addition, it is perfect for winter and autumn/winter 2021 garments, thanks to its great thickness and quality.

It is important to note that the fabric does not allow bleaching, must be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and ironed at a warm temperature. Dry cleaning is not recommended, and it cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used for the manufacture of this base fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows high color fixation in the fabric fibers. The image is placed on the transfer support, which is then pressed onto the fabric fibers using a heat press. In this way, a soft finish resistant to washing and daily use is achieved.
