Description

The base fabric of this textile is Paño - Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed in Almagre Brown is reflected in its CMYK of 24 94 100 21. The secondary color of the print, Almagre, is a dark reddish-brown hue that, symbolically, represents earth and strength. Technically, it is a warm, intense, and very versatile color. It pairs especially well with ochre, gold, and gray tones, although it also works with whites and off-whites. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric.

Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, we can say that its texture is soft and pleasant to the touch. As for the printed color, it offers great sharpness and definition in details. Furthermore, sublimation printing technology allows for a wide range of vibrant and long-lasting colors.

As for the applications and uses of this fabric, several can be highlighted, such as for making coats, trenches, jackets, and blazers for both women and men. It is also suitable for home textiles like placemats in the dining room or dishcloths in the kitchen. Additionally, it is especially indicated for religious textiles, such as altar cloths.

Regarding the care this fabric should receive, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a warm temperature. Furthermore, it is not suitable for tumble drying.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This is a process in which the ink evaporates and fuses into the fabric, making the color permanently printed. The result is great detail definition and an intense, long-lasting color.
