The base fabric Paño - Glasgow has a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a combination of brown and army green, with a CMYK of 53 43 59 34. The army green color symbolizes strength and determination, while brown adds a touch of stability and security. Combined, this secondary color conveys an effect of balance and harmony. It pairs well with neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, as well as with earth tones.
It is worth noting that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side only.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric has a soft texture to the touch. It is a high-quality, resistant fabric, suitable for use in outerwear, home accessories, and altar textiles. Broadcloth is a fabric characterized by its durability, making it an excellent choice for winter outerwear.
Among the applications and uses of the Paño - Glasgow base fabric are outerwear such as coats, trenches, jackets, and vests for men and women, blazers, and jackets. It can also be used for home textiles, such as coasters, and for altar textiles.
As for care instructions, it is recommended not to bleach the garment and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C to avoid damaging the fabrics. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a warm temperature. Likewise, a tumble dryer should not be used to dry this fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, applied to a polyester fabric. This printing technique allows the color to be printed on the surface of the fabric without losing quality or sharpness, ensuring that the color remains on the fabric even after repeated use and washing.
