Description

The base fabric of this textile is a Glasgow type cloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an elegant Eminence purple tone, with a CMYK of 71 93 7 1. This tone has a symbolism that evokes royalty, elegance, and sophistication, being a color associated with wealth and power. This secondary color combines especially well with light and pastel tones, such as pale pink, light gray, and white, but also works well with dark tones like black or dark gray. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the printed color is only on one side of the fabric and it is not a dyed fabric.

In general, Glasgow fabric has a soft texture to the touch, offering great quality and resistance. These characteristics also apply to the printed color, which shows great intensity and fidelity in its tones. Among its attributes, we can highlight its resistance and durability, which allows its use in very diverse applications. In the fashion field, it can be used for making coats and trenches, jackets and vests, blazers and jackets. Also, in home textiles, it is used for making cloths and coasters. Furthermore, this fabric is especially well suited for the winter or autumn/winter season for the year 2021.

Regarding fabric care, it is important to follow the instructions detailed on its label. It is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not to bleach it, iron it at a warm temperature, and not to use a dryer. On the other hand, dry cleaning of this garment is not recommended.

Finally, the fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology (polyester), a digital textile printing process that allows great fidelity in color reproduction and great resistance to fading. In this process, the desired image is printed on transfer paper with special sublimation inks and, subsequently, transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure, fixing the ink on one side of the fabric and maintaining its softness and flexibility at all times.
