The base fabric Paño - Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, has a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Purple-Ube, which is achieved using cyan and magenta in the digital textile printing ink in a ratio of 56-56, respectively. This color is a soft and elegant shade that symbolizes creativity and introspection. It harmoniously combines with other pastel tones such as dusty pink, lilac, and sky blue. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, resulting in a crisp and high-quality design.
The characteristics of the base fabric include its soft texture to the touch, which gives it an elegant and comfortable appearance. Furthermore, it is resistant to wear and washing, ensuring a long lifespan. The printed solid color, on the other hand, has great stability and fidelity to the original design, remaining intact even after several washes.
Regarding applications and uses, Paño - Glasgow is primarily suitable for creating coats, trench coats, blazers, jackets, and bomber jackets for men and women, as well as for making decorative elements such as coasters and altar elements. Given the fabrics texture, it is also suitable for upholstery.
For fabric care, it is recommended to wash it at no more than 40ºC, iron it at a warm temperature, and avoid bleaching or dry cleaning. Likewise, it is not suitable for tumble dryers.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high fidelity of colors and designs on the fabric. This process is based on transferring the printed design from special paper to the fabric using a heat press, resulting in sharp and durable image quality.
