The base fabric is Paño Glasgow, a cloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which gives it great resistance and elasticity. Its weight is 380 gr/m2 and its width reaches 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a Spanish Orange tone with a CMYK of 8 60 100 1. This color is intense and striking, which can generate a cheerful and vibrant atmosphere in any garment or accessory in which it is used. It is an ideal color for autumn and winter and combines very well with shades such as blue, gray, and white.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is a direct print on the surface of the fabric and not a dyed fabric.
Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, which makes it very comfortable and attractive for making clothing and fashion accessories. As for the plain printed color, its pigmentation is resistant and durable, so it does not fade easily with washing. It is a color that is perceived vividly and intensely, thanks to the high levels of Magenta and Yellow ink that have been used in its printing.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, highlights include the confection of coats, trench coats, jackets, and vests for women and men, as well as blazers and jackets. In home textile environments, it is also ideal for making coasters for the dining room and kitchen cloths.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Likewise, it is not advisable to dry clean or tumble dry. For ironing, it is advised to do so at a warm temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is Polyester Sublimation, which is used to print photographic designs on fabrics. This process involves the transfer of sublimation inks through paper using heat and pressure, which produces a high-quality and durable print on the surface of the fabric.
