The base fabric for this textile is Paño - Glasgow, primarily composed of polyester, viscose, and elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color used for this fabric is a combination of orange and sienna with the following ink values: Cyan: 27, Magenta: 70, Yellow: 84, and Black: 22. This secondary color has a warm, earthy tone, ideal for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season. This color pairs perfectly with beige, brown, and dark green tones.
Digital textile printing is done on one side, meaning only one side of the fabric is printed with the solid color. However, the base fabric is dense enough that the printed color does not show through.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric is soft to the touch and has a pleasant texture. The printed color is vibrant and long-lasting thanks to the sublimation technology used in printing.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it is perfect for making coats, jackets, blazers, and bomber jackets for both men and women. It can also be used in home textiles such as coasters and kitchen towels. Additionally, due to its resistance, it can be used in theaters and cinema for high-quality sets.
It is important to note the special care this fabric requires. It is recommended to wash at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, do not bleach or dry clean. It is advisable to iron at a low temperature and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used for this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process involves transferring liquid ink to special paper, which is then placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures. By applying heat and pressure, the ink sublimates and turns into vapor, penetrating the fabric fibers and transforming into a durable, wash-resistant color. This printing process allows for high quality detail and color, resulting in a vibrant and long-lasting solid printed color.
