The base fabric of this textile is a Glasgow plaid, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is leaf yellow, with a CMYK of 9 6 31 0. This color evokes nature, symbolizing happiness, energy, and vitality. It combines well with other colors such as gray, brown, or black, creating an elegant and sophisticated style. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The fabric has a soft texture to the touch, making it elastic, resistant, and comfortable to wear. The combination of the different fibers in its composition provides high durability and resistance to deformation, making it suitable for manufacturing high-performance garments and for uses in altars, such as cloths and others.
Due to its weight and composition, it is an ideal fabric for making coats, trench coats, jackets, and winter jackets, as well as for making blazers. Additionally, thanks to its applications in textile/home, it can be used as coasters and kitchen towels.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and wash at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. Also, avoid dry cleaning and ironing the fabric on the front side.
The printing technology for the base fabric is sublimation with polyester, which is a process by which dissolved inks are applied to a transfer paper base, then transferred to the fabric using pressure and heat. This process ensures excellent ink fixation to the Glasgow plaid, providing vibrant and high-quality color designs.
