The base fabric is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is corn yellow, which contains a combination of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black in a proportion of 5 0 73 0, respectively. Its hue evokes the light and vitality of cornfields in summer and is associated with joy, creativity, and renewed energy. The combination of yellow and black produces a contrast effect and highlights the intensity of the color, while blue, green, and brown are colors that provide harmony and visual complementarity.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and its solid printed color, its soft and pleasant texture to the touch stands out. Due to its composition, it is resistant to wear and shrinkage, making it a robust and durable option for outerwear, jackets, and blazers. It is also suitable for coasters and kitchen cloths, thanks to its ability to absorb moisture and heat. In addition, its sublimation printing guarantees a sharp and high-quality print.
Glasgow cloth printed with corn yellow is ideal for multiple applications and uses. For example, its texture and resistance make it perfect for making coats, trench coats, jackets, and vests, for both women and men. Likewise, its cheerful and vibrant tone makes it a good resource for fashion and interior decoration, particularly as fabrics for altars or for living rooms and dining rooms. Glasgow cloth also adapts well to winter and autumn environments, and its sublimation printing technology with polyester guarantees a sharp and durable image.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. In addition, it should be noted that this fabric is not suitable for dry cleaning.
Sublimation printing technology is a process of transferring ink by heat and pressure onto a porous surface, such as polyester fabrics. The ink turns into vapor and adheres to the fibers of the fabric, creating a resistant and high-quality print. This process also allows reproducing images in high definition and with intense and vibrant tones. In the case of Glasgow cloth printed with corn yellow, this ensures that the design printed on the fabric is sharp, durable, and resistant to the passage of time.
