The base fabric is Paño Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a grammage of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Sahara yellow, with an ink mixture of Cyan 26, Magenta 32, Yellow 93, and Black 12. This intense and warm yellow tone perfectly combines with neutral tones such as gray and white, as well as earthy tones like brown and beige. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning the ink penetrates the fabric surface, creating a soft and durable finish.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its soft texture to the touch stands out, making it comfortable and pleasant to use. Thanks to its composition, it is resistant to wear and tear and retains its original shape and color for a long time. In addition to its use in fashion, such as coats, jackets, and blazers, it is also ideal for home applications, such as coasters and table placemats.
As for the applications and uses of the Paño Glasgow fabric, its versatility stands out, allowing its use in both fashion and home textiles. With its grammage and composition, it is ideal for resistant and durable outerwear. Furthermore, its texture adds an elegant touch to table placemats, coasters, and other elements in home decor.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, do not dry clean, iron at a warm temperature, and avoid using a dryer. With these cares, the Paño Glasgow fabric and its solid Sahara yellow color will maintain their quality and original appearance for a long time.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for durable and resistant color fixation without affecting the softness and comfort of the fabric. With this technique, heat and pressure are applied during printing, allowing the ink to go directly from solid to gas without passing through the liquid state, creating a perfect and uniform finish.
