Description

The base fabric, Paño Glasgow, has a composition of 93% POLYESTER, 5% VISCOSE, and 2% ELASTANE. Its weight is 380 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The solid color printed is oxygenated blonde yellow, with a CMYK of 7 3 26 0. This secondary color, evocative of sun and joy, is combined with blue, green, gray, pink, and beige tones.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which gives it great sharpness and vibrancy of color. In addition, the base fabric is known for its soft and pleasant texture to the touch. This combination creates a high-quality and highly durable fabric, perfect for fashion, home, and other projects.

Among the most common applications and uses of the Paño Glasgow base fabric are, in addition to home textiles, the making of coats, jackets, blousons, blazers, and trench coats, for both women and men. It is also used in religious textiles for altars, as well as in the manufacturing of coasters for the dining room.

It is important to consider the specific care instructions for this type of fabric, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing at a warm temperature, and avoiding tumble drying.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique consists of printing the design on special transfer paper, which is placed on the fabric and subjected to high pressure and temperature so that the ink is transferred to the fabric. This process guarantees great color fidelity and a high-quality and durable print.
