The base fabric is a Glasgow cloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an elegant onyx gray, with a CMYK of 71 58 55 62, and a soft texture to the touch. It combines especially well with white, black, and silver tones, which gives it great versatility in fashion garments and home textiles. The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, so caution is recommended when washing and handling to maintain the quality of the print.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric are its resistance, durability, and good drape, which makes it an ideal fabric for making coats, trench coats, jackets, vests, blazers, and jackets, for both men and women. In addition, thanks to its composition, it is also a suitable option for coasters and other textile applications for dining rooms and kitchens.
Regarding fabric care, it is important not to bleach and not to dry clean the finished garment. The maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, and ironing at a warm temperature is recommended. Tumble drying is not allowed.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process that allows color to be fixed by applying heat and pressure. This ensures high print quality and great durability against washing, rubbing, and sun exposure.
