Glasgow fabric is a high-quality fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a snow white with a combination of Cyan 0, Magenta 3, Yellow 1, Black 0 inks, and a CMYK of 0 3 1 0. This secondary color symbolizes purity and serenity, and pairs perfectly with dark tones such as black, blue, and brown.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, making it a printed fabric and not dyed. Glasgows soft texture makes it suitable for high-end garments, such as coats, jackets, blazers, and trench coats. It is also ideal for home textiles, such as coasters and kitchen towels.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its durability and wear resistance stand out, making it perfect for garments that require a high level of resistance to daily use. It is also adaptable to different designs and patterns due to its soft and malleable texture.
Regarding care, this fabric should not be bleached, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a warm temperature. It is not suitable for dry cleaning and cannot be tumble dried.
This fabric is produced using sublimation technology, which allows for high-quality and durable printing on the fabric. This printing process involves the transfer of ink through heat and pressure to create a permanent image on the fabric, ensuring that the printed solid color maintains its brightness and vibrancy over time.
