The base fabric is a Glasgow Cloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a Pictorial Carmine Red, whose CMYK is 16 100 49 6. This color is an intense and vibrant red, evoking strength and passion. It combines perfectly with neutral tones like gray, black, or white, as well as analogous tones like orange or purple.
It is worth noting that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This achieves great precision and definition in the designs, while preserving the quality and durability of the fabric.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, making it perfect for outerwear such as coats or jackets. Additionally, its weight and consistency make it ideal for home applications such as coasters or kitchen towels.
As for care, it is important to note that the garment does not allow dry cleaning and cannot be tumble dried. A maximum wash at 40°C and ironing at a warm temperature are recommended to preserve the quality of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of printing the design on transfer paper using special inks and then transferring it to the fabric through high temperatures and pressures. This achieves a crisp, high-quality print, resistant to wear and tear over time.
