The base fabric is Glasgow Cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Rubicundo, with an ink formula that includes 0 cyan, 95 magenta, 76 yellow, and 0 black, giving it an intense and striking red hue. This color combines well with neutral tones such as white, gray, or black, as well as softer green or red tones to create a balanced contrast.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means it has no dye on the reverse and only the surface of the fabric is covered with ink.
The composition of the base fabric and its weight give it characteristics such as a soft touch and certain resistance, making it suitable for applications in outerwear fashion, such as jackets, coats, or blazers, and in home decoration, for kitchen or dining textiles, such as coasters. It can also be used in the making of garments for altars.
It is advisable to take into account the care instructions provided by the manufacturer to prolong the life of the fabric: wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not use bleach, do not dry clean, iron at a warm temperature, and avoid tumble drying.
The fabric is printed using the sublimation technique on polyester, which allows the ink to be fixed through heat and humidity, producing a high-quality and durable result. This technique is widely used in fabric printing for fashion and decoration due to its excellent performance and precision.
