The base fabric Paño - Glasgow is a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed solid color is a Tractor Red type, with a CMYK of 0 94 71 0. This color, besides being vibrant and bold, evokes machinery and hard work, which can be used to convey strength and energy in outerwear or as a decorative element. It combines very well with neutral tones such as black, white, gray, and brown.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side, which gives it higher quality and durability.
The base fabric is soft to the touch and has a pleasant texture. These attributes, along with the weight and composition of the fabric, make it ideal for outerwear such as coats, jackets, and blazers. Due to its resistance and durability, it is also a perfect fabric for home applications such as coasters and kitchen towels.
In addition to the mentioned applications, the Paño - Glasgow fabric is frequently used in the making of religious clothing such as altars due to its strength and resistance. It is also a popular choice for mens and womens fashion due to the quality of the fabric.
It is important to follow the fabric care recommendations, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying. Since it is a fabric with elastane, it is important to avoid dry cleaning.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process involves transferring ink through a high-quality printer and heat onto transfer paper before being fused onto the fabric through heat and pressure. This creates a vivid and high-quality result that lasts over time.
