The base fabric of this textile is Glasgow, a suiting fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is specially designed for fashion garments and home applications. The solid color printed is a vibrant cedar green, with a CMYK of 37 0 60 0, offering a soft and pleasant texture to the touch. This color combines very well with brown, gray, and ochre tones, making it very easy to combine in garment manufacturing.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only, using digital textile printing technology. Therefore, it is not a dyed fabric, but digitally printed.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric is very resistant and durable, thanks to its composition. In addition, it offers good thermal insulation, making it suitable for cold seasons of the year. As for the solid color, its vibrancy and luminosity add a modern and sophisticated touch to designs.
Among the most outstanding applications for this base fabric are fashion garments, especially for coats, trenches, and jackets, as well as for coasters and kitchen towels.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, we recommend not using bleach, as well as washing the garment at temperatures not exceeding 40ºC. This fabric does not allow dry cleaning, although ironing at a warm temperature is permitted. In addition, it is not advisable to use a tumble dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process consists of transferring the design through heat and pressure, which provides high image quality and great resistance to wear. In addition, the use of this technology allows a wide variety of designs and colors, with excellent precision and definition in every detail.
