Description

The base fabric in question is Glasgow cloth, a high-quality and resistant fabric. It is printed in a solid color that comes in green and pale green tones. The color has been obtained by combining four inks: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, specifically in proportions of 53, 17, 63, and 2, respectively. This color has a symbolic character that represents nature, rebirth, and hope. Furthermore, it is a very versatile color that combines very well with other colors, such as brown, beige, or cream, among others. It is important to add that this fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which gives it great sharpness and quality in its print.

Regarding the general characteristics of Glasgow cloth, we can highlight its soft and pleasant feel on contact with the skin, thanks to its composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which also provides extra resistance and durability. Likewise, this material is used in different applications, such as altars, coats, jackets, blazers, kitchen towels, or dining coasters. A very versatile fabric that adapts to different needs depending on its season of use, whether winter or in the current autumn/winter 2021.

To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is very important to take into account some specific care, such as washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and not using bleach or a dryer, as they can damage it.

Finally, we can consider the printing technology used on this fabric, which is polyester sublimation. This technique is characterized by printing with special inks that sublimate under a certain temperature and pressure, penetrating the fabric and remaining permanently fixed in it. A high-quality and precision process that guarantees a durable and high-definition print on the fabric.
