The base fabric used is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is grayish blue, with a CMYK of 53 26 24 5. This secondary color symbolizes elegance, sophistication, and tranquility, and combines especially well with gray, silver, and white tones. It should be noted that the fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The general characteristics of this base fabric are its soft texture to the touch and its versatility in terms of applications and uses. Some of the most common applications and uses are altars, coats, coasters, jackets, vests, blazers, jackets, and kitchen towels. Thanks to its composition, this fabric is especially useful in winter and in autumn/winter.
To keep this fabric in good condition, it is advisable not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron it at a warm temperature, and avoid tumble drying. Dry cleaning of this garment is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from a printed transfer paper to the fabric surface using heat and pressure. This technique allows for high-quality and durable printing, but it is only effective on fabrics with a high polyester content.
