The base fabric of this garment is an Organic Cotton Poplin - Verona in light carmine pink, which is obtained from 100% organic cotton. With a weight of 110 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for the production of summer garments. The solid printed color is obtained thanks to a combination of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks with a percentage of 4-72-44-0 in the CMYK color system. The result is a pale pink tone, soft and elegant, which combines especially well with similar shades such as pastel yellow and bright white. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which allows the texture of the base fabric to remain practically unaltered.
The general characteristics of this base fabric are softness and stiffness. Organic cotton makes it a very comfortable and pleasant fabric to the touch, while Poplin gives it body and resistance. Poplin fabric is ideal for making fitted garments, as its texture is not transparent and its stiffness maintains the shape without losing drape. Regarding the solid printed color, its color palette and softness make it ideal for the production of childrens clothing but also for blouses, shirts, or dresses for women or men.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It is important to iron at a cool temperature and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is REACTIVE DIGITAL DIRECT, which is a direct printing process on natural fibers that produces more definition and durability in the printed image without affecting the texture and color of the base fabric.
