The base fabric, Organic Cotton Poplin - Vienna, is a soft and light fabric weighing 130 gr/m2 with a width of 150 cm. It is made of 100% organic cotton and is GOTS certified - ORGANIC CU1016503. The plain color printed on the fabric is a Coconut Brown with a CMYK of 40 56 62 51, which gives it a natural and elegant look. This secondary color combines perfectly with shades such as beige, cream or dark green, making it ideal for use in fashion, accessories or complements.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, so it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Therefore, it is recommended to take this aspect into account when designing and making garments and accessories with this fabric.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, we highlight its soft texture and its pleasant feel on contact with the skin. In addition, it is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric, as it is made of organic cotton and is GOTS certified.
Among the most common applications and uses of this fabric, we find fashion in general, both for women and men, in garments such as shirts, tops, dresses or blouses, as well as in accessories such as scarves. It is also suitable for use in childrens fashion thanks to its softness and lightness.
As for the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, admit dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, iron at a cold temperature and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is DIGITAL DIRECT REACTIVE (NATURAL FIBERS), which allows high quality and definition printing on natural fiber fabrics such as cotton. This technology uses special inks with high fixation and low environmental impact, which are fixed to the fabric fibers through a steaming process and adequate drying.
