The base fabric is an organic cotton poplin called Viena, with a weight of 130gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. Its plain printed color is a dark pumpkin orange hue achieved by mixing 13% cyan, 36% magenta, 73% yellow, and 2% black in the digital textile printing process. This secondary color is described as a warm and inviting tone, evoking feelings of vitality and enthusiasm, making it ideal for clothing and fashion accessories. As for color combinations, this shade of orange can be combined with neutral colors like white, black, and gray, as well as warm colors like ochre, yellow, and red.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using reactive digital printing technology, which ensures good color fixation and precise, sharp detail reproduction. In terms of its general characteristics, the base fabric is characterized by a soft texture and a comfortable feel against the skin. Furthermore, being made of organic cotton, it is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, some notable ones include making shirts, tops, blouses, dresses, accessories, and scarves. Due to its composition and weight, it is an ideal fabric for summer garments. However, its uses and applications can be expanded depending on the design and creativity of the person working with it.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature. Likewise, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, it is worth noting that direct digital printing technology with reactive inks is a modern and environmentally friendly technique that allows for high print quality and greater color fidelity in the final product. This technique is based on the direct digital application of ink onto the fabric, which penetrates the natural fibers and guarantees a durable result resistant to wear and washing.
