The base fabric is Organic Cotton Poplin - Viena, a 100% organic cotton fabric with a weight of 130 grams per square meter and a width of 150 centimeters. The base color of the fabric is a soft, solid giraffe yellow, obtained by combining cyan ink (2), magenta ink (36), and yellow ink (93), with a complete absence of black ink. The solid color is a vibrant and harmonious tone that perfectly combines with colors such as brown, beige, or white, providing a warm and intense look.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side, which produces a high-quality image with great sharpness and definition.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric is soft to the touch and has a texture that makes it ideal for use in fashion, especially for summer garments, as indicated in its applications and uses. This fabric is very versatile and can be used for making various garments, from shirts and blouses to scarves and accessories.
As for fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature and ironed at a cool temperature. The fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive direct digital technology for natural fibers. This printing technique uses special inks that chemically adhere to the fabric fibers, ensuring excellent color fixation and high durability over time. Furthermore, this technique is environmentally friendly, as it does not use hazardous chemicals like those employed in traditional printing.
