The base fabric for this textile is the Mottled Jersey Knit - Dubai, a 100% polyester knit fabric with a weight of 135 gr/m2, a width of 160 cm, and specific care instructions: Do not bleach, maximum washing temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except with trichloroethylene, cool ironing, and cannot be tumble dried. The solid color printed on the fabric is Wine Red, with CMYK values of 12 100 73 3, and it is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
The Wine Red color is described as intense and sophisticated, conveying elegance and refinement. It is a secondary hue that combines red and purple, ideal for both mens and womens fashion projects. This color complements a variety of other colors, particularly neutral tones like gray and black, but also more vibrant shades such as dark green and some golden or copper tones.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric has a smooth and simultaneously translucent texture, with an elasticity that makes it perfect for knit garments. Its attributes include softness to the touch and visual elegance due to its mottled appearance. Furthermore, the printed color is characterized by its resistance to washing and sun exposure, ensuring that the fabric will retain its brightness and color for longer.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it is suggested for womens and mens fashion, especially for making t-shirts and knitwear. It is a timeless fabric, meaning it does not go out of style, but it is also ideal for more contemporary and avant-garde projects.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows ink to be transferred from paper to fabric using precise pressure and heat. Sublimation is a digital textile printing technique that ensures high-quality printed images, good color durability, and greater precision in details.
