The base fabric, Jaspeado Jersey Knit - Dubai, is a knit fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 135 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its plain printed color is Steppe Wolf Grey, with a CMYK of 16 14 17 0. This color presents a grey tone with a hint of pale bluish-green, evoking the image of a wolf blending into the steppe landscape. The color combines well with grey, green, blue, and brown tones, creating a serene and natural chromatic palette.
The base fabric is soft to the touch and has a mottled visual texture due to its knit weave, making it a translucent and elastic fabric. On the other hand, the plain printed color is opaque but retains the softness to the touch and the smooth texture of the base fabric. The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high image and color quality.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness, elasticity, and translucency. Its primary application is in womens and mens fashion, especially in knit garments such as t-shirts. Furthermore, due to its timelessness, it is a fabric that can be used at any time of the year. The plain printed color, Steppe Wolf Grey, is a neutral and versatile tone that allows for creating outfits with various chromatic palettes.
To properly care for this fabric, it is advisable not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30 °C. It is also recommended to iron the fabric at a cool temperature and not to tumble dry it. If dry cleaning is needed, it can be done, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring an image from special paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique allows for high image quality, as well as the ability to print complex designs on a wide variety of fabrics, as in this case on the polyester knit base fabric.
