The base fabric is the Jaspeado - Dubái Jersey Knit, a knit fabric type with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 135 gr/m2. Its width is 160 cm, and its care instructions include washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, no bleaching, cold ironing, dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, and no tumble drying. This fabric is ideal for knit garments for both women and men, particularly for timeless t-shirts.
The solid printed color of the Jaspeado – Dubái Jersey Knit has an frost blue tone, measured in CMYK at 15 2 8 0 using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks respectively. The secondary color of this blue tone is white, as it is a mottled color that presents a translucent visual texture. The colors it best combines with are light, pastel, and neutral tones such as white, light gray, or pastel pink.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The characteristics of the base fabric include a smooth, translucent, mottled, and elastic texture in both touch and visual appearance. The Jaspeado – Dubái Jersey Knit is suitable for making knit garments such as t-shirts and tops due to its ability to adapt to the body in motion. Furthermore, this type of fabric is an excellent option for fashion designers looking for a versatile, fresh, and comfortable fabric for their collection.
The care instructions for the base fabric focus on no bleaching, no tumble drying, dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, and ironing at a low temperature.
The printing technology used for the Jaspeado – Dubái Jersey Knit fabric is sublimation on polyester. This printing process uses a combination of heat, time, and pressure to transfer sublimated ink from transfer paper to the fabric. Sublimation produces intense, long-lasting color that does not crack, peel, or fade over time. The fabric is printed on one side, which allows for greater fabric resistance to washing and a longer design lifespan.
