The base fabric is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed solid color is brown-khaki, with a CMYK of 25 27 45 8, reflecting a range of warm and earthy colors. This brown tone is associated with earth, stability, and elegance, while khaki represents naturalness, serenity, and balance.
The combination of both colors in the fabric creates a feeling of warmth and tranquility, perfect for winter garments. This brown-khaki tone can be combined with other warm shades such as oranges, ochres, mustards, and even soft pinks, creating a harmonious and balanced contrast.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the fabric is not dyed but the color is applied directly to the surface of the fabric.
The base fabric has characteristics such as softness and elasticity to the touch, making it ideal for making knitwear such as sweaters, tops, and cardigans. It is also perfect for making accessories like scarves and shawls, thanks to its texture and drape. In addition, its grammage makes it suitable for making blankets and lingerie and pajama garments.
It is important to mention that care instructions for this type of fabric include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, which should be taken into account for proper washing and maintenance.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the color to be transferred onto the fabric surface clearly and durably. Digital textile printing enables personalized and original designs, adapted to the needs and tastes of each customer.
