The base fabric, Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, is a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid color, Steel Blue, is composed of 64% cyan ink, 32% magenta ink, 4% yellow ink, and 0% black ink, which translates to a CMYK of 64 32 4 0. This secondary color represents a feeling of cold and liquid metal, ideal for a winter garment. It combines especially well with neutral tones such as white and black, but also with pastel tones such as pale pink and mint green.

This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for high quality in the reproduction of the design. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft and elastic texture and feel, which makes it a perfect fabric for comfortable and adjustable clothing. The combination of the cottony feel with elasticity results in garments that adapt perfectly to the body, without feeling too tight.

Among the applications and uses of this fabric, we can highlight lingerie and pajamas, knitwear such as sweaters, tops and cardigans, dresses and accessories such as socks, scarves and foulards. It is important to consider the care required for this fabric, as it should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature is 30°C, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble drying should not be used, as this can reduce its elasticity and alter its original shape.

The printing technology used to manufacture this base fabric is sublimation on polyester, which is a digital printing technique that ensures the colors are impregnated into the fabric instead of simply applied to the surface. This technique makes the colors resistant to washing and sun exposure, which prolongs the life of the garment.
