The base fabric is a Cotton-Touch Jersey Knit - Athens, with a composition of 81% POLYESTER, 15% ACRYLIC, 4% ELASTANE, a weight of 239 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Burgundy Red with a CMYK of 30 100 76 40, indicating a high concentration of magenta and yellow ink, and a lesser amount of cyan and black ink. This color has a warm and deep feel, evoking an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. It pairs well with warm tones such as beige, brown, gold, and orange, as well as with neutral tones like black, white, and grey.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning the image is printed directly onto the fabric surface in high resolution, and no dyeing method is used. The fabrics texture is soft and elastic, making it suitable for clothing, lingerie, and accessories.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness and elasticity in texture and touch. Furthermore, its composition makes it resistant and durable. The fabric is suitable for knitwear, sweaters, tops, dresses, cardigans, blankets, accessories such as socks, scarves, and shawls, as well as for home use in napkins and throws for the living room and bedroom.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to bleach. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. It should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for high-resolution image printing with vibrant and long-lasting colors. This technique involves transferring the ink from a solid state to a gaseous state, which adheres to the fabric surface, ensuring a high-quality and durable print over time.
