Cotton Touch Jersey Knit - Athens

The base fabric is a Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a Dark Blue-Gray, with a CMYK of 78 60 36 23 and sublimation printing technology (polyester). This color symbolizes tranquility and stability, and technically, it is the result of combining a high percentage of cyan and magenta ink, and a smaller amount of yellow and black ink.

The base fabric and the plain color have soft and elastic characteristics to the touch. When combined with other colors, Dark Blue-Gray works very well with neutral tones, such as white and light gray, as well as with intense colors, such as red and orange. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed on one side only, which means that the ink is only on one side of the fabric, and it is not a dyed fabric.

Among the attributes of the base fabric, its versatility and resistance stand out, which allows it to be used for a wide variety of applications and uses. These include lingerie, pajamas, womens or mens fashion (sweaters, tops, knitwear, dresses, or cardigans), blankets for the living room or bedroom, accessories such as socks, scarves or shawls, or childrens knitwear. The fabric provides great comfort when worn, due to its softness and elasticity, as well as its resistance to daily use.

It is important, to care for the fabric, to take into account the indicated precautions: do not bleach, maximum washing temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and cannot be tumble dried. These cares are necessary to avoid damage to the fabric and maintain its quality and softness.

Finally, the printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation (polyester). This technique consists of printing the image on special paper with sublimation ink, which is then placed in contact with the fabric and pressed with heat. The ink melts into the fibers of the fabric, creating a durable and high-quality finish.
