The base fabric is Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knitted fabric with 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Candy Red, with a CMYK of 11 100 91 3, indicating a predominance of red and magenta with a touch of yellow and black to provide depth and contrast. This secondary color has a warm and cozy hue, making it ideal for winter garments. It combines very well with other orange, brown, and terracotta tones, creating a chromatic palette that evokes autumn.
It is important to highlight that this fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means that the solid color is applied only to one side of the fabric and does not penetrate the fiber, giving it a soft and light texture to the touch. The base fabric is soft to the touch, making it comfortable to wear for many hours. In addition, it is resistant and durable, which makes it perfect for everyday wear.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are knitwear such as t-shirts, tops, pants, dresses, sweaters, and casual garments for women and men. It can also be used for dining napkins due to its durability and absorbency. The fabric season is more suitable for winter due to its weight and soft texture.
To properly care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron at a low temperature, and avoid using a tumble dryer. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene, to prolong its useful life.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which uses special inks that turn into gas when heated, penetrating the fabric fibers and creating intense and vibrant colors with great fidelity. This technology allows for faster and more efficient production in large quantities without sacrificing fabric quality.
