The base fabric is a Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed plain color is Glazed Brown, with a CMYK of 52, 49, 42, 31. This color is characterized by being warm, soft, and elegant, with an intermediate tone between dark brown and light beige. It combines perfectly with other neutral colors such as white, grey, and black, as well as with tones of the same range such as beige, light brown, and gold.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it great quality and drawing precision, as well as excellent detail and sharpness in the print. It is important to note that this is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side, which allows for a more realistic and vivid effect.
The general characteristics of the base fabric and its plain printed color are soft to the touch and of high quality, which gives it great versatility and adaptability to different types of creative projects, from fashion to home textiles. The texture of the fabric is soft and flexible, making it an ideal option for knitted garments, tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. It is also a perfect option for making dining napkins.
Regarding care, the base fabric requires a series of specific cares such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allowing dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. It is important to consider these cares to prolong the lifespan of the fabric and prevent its deterioration.
The printing technology used for this type of fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the transfer of ink from paper to fabric through heat and pressure, achieving high print quality and great color durability. This process is carried out using a specialized printer that uses water-based sublimation inks, which turn into gas upon contact with the heat of the iron, penetrating the fibers of the fabric and providing a permanent effect.
