Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knitted fabric with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. The plain printed color is Antique Mauve, with a CMYK content of 47 81 41 45. This plain color is described as a muted purple tone with certain grey undertones, giving it a vintage feel. It combines well with neutral tones such as white and beige, as well as dark tones such as black and grey.

It is worth noting that the base fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, meaning that the color is only on one side of the fabric and is not dyed throughout the fabric. The fabric texture is soft to the touch due to the presence of elastane in the composition.

As general characteristics, the base fabric is suitable for winter knitwear and is commonly used for tops, t-shirts, trousers, dresses, and sweaters in both womens and mens fashion. It is also suitable for making dining napkins for the home.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at low temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique involves printing the ink onto transfer paper and then transferring the ink to the fabric using extreme heat and pressure. Sublimation allows for sharp and detailed printing on synthetic fabrics such as polyester, providing a smooth and vibrant finish on the fabric.
