The base fabric is the Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knit fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is Barn Red, with a CMYK of 20 100 95 13, which gives it an intense and deep red hue.
This secondary color, Barn Red, represents strength and passion. Symbolically, it is associated with vitality, joy, and creativity. In technical terms, it is a warm and vibrant color that combines particularly well with earth tones, grays, and dark greens.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the color is only on one side of the fabric. Furthermore, it is important to mention that it is not a dyed fabric, but rather the color is printed directly onto the fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric and the plain printed color are their softness and texture. The fabric is elastic and comfortable to the touch, making it ideal for close-fitting garments. The printed color is resistant to fading and wear, which guarantees the durability of the final product.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, womens and mens fashion stand out, specifically for knitwear, tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, sweaters, and household napkins. Based on the users internal knowledge, it can also be applied to other sectors such as textile for decoration.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not use bleach or tumble dry, iron at low temperature, and dry clean except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the design on special transfer paper with sublimation inks, which adhere to the fabric through heat and pressure, achieving resistant and durable prints.
