Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is the Roma Elastic Knit - Lyon, a Knit Fabric type with a composition of 97% POLYESTER and 3% ELASTANE. The grammage is 282 gr/m2 and it has a fabric width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Blue, Curaçao tone, which comes from an ink composition of Cyan: 54, Magenta: 15, Yellow: 10, and Black: 0, with a CMYK of 54 15 10 0. This color is representative of the island of Curaçao. Its secondary color is orange, so it mainly combines with orange tones and complementary colors such as white or black. The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric.

The fabric has general characteristics such as a soft texture and feel. Among the attributes of the base fabric are its applications and uses, such as fashion for knitwear, t-shirts, trousers, sweaters, dresses, among others, for both women and men. It is also used in home textiles for creating dining napkins. It is ideal for the winter season, making it suitable for projects where high quality materials are desired.

It is important to consider some care instructions for this fabric. Do not use bleach, and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C and, of course, do not tumble dry; iron at a cool temperature, and if dry cleaning is needed, it can be done, except with trichloroethylene.

The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique works by transforming the printed ink into gas, which directly impregnates the fabric and is fixed, so the print remains on the fabric for its entire lifespan.
