Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon, a knitted fabric with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. The solid color printed on this fabric is Gulf Blue, with a CMYK of 88 40 45 32. This color is characterized by being bright, vibrant, and with a turquoise hue, typical of the Mediterranean Sea. It complements very well with neutral tones such as white, cream, and gray, and also with stronger tones such as pink or dark red.

It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the print is on only one side of the fabric and the entire fabric has not been dyed. This printing technique allows for greater versatility in design and greater precision in details.

The most notable characteristic of the base fabric is its elasticity and its soft texture to the touch. It is ideal for knitted garments and can be used for making tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, jerseys, and napkins, among others. It is a perfect fabric for the winter season due to its weight and composition.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, use a maximum washing temperature of 30ºC, it admits dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of applying heat and pressure to transfer ink from paper to fabric. This process allows for bright and sharp colors and is ideal for synthetic fabrics such as polyester.
