The base fabric is the Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, a knitted fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, providing a high level of elasticity. The fabrics weight is 282 gr/m2, and its width is 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is Midnight Blue, which is composed of 100% cyan ink, 83% magenta, 34% yellow ink, and 25% black ink, with its CMYK being 100 83 34 25. This color is characterized by a rich and deep hue, evoking a sense of mystery and elegance. It pairs well with pastel tones and light blues for a softer color palette, or with bright and saturated tones like yellow or red for a bolder combination. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the ink penetrated the fabric, leaving a sharp and durable image.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include a soft texture and a pleasant feel. Its elasticity makes it ideal for clothing items, such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters for men and women, as well as for dining cloth napkins. Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached, should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and trichloroethylene should not be used for dry cleaning. It is possible to iron the fabric at a low temperature, but it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process involves transferring ink to special paper, which is then transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure. The ink transforms into a gas that penetrates the fabric fibers, and upon cooling, it turns into a solid color on the fabrics surface. This process ensures vibrant colors and high durability in the printed color, making it ideal for high-quality products.
