The base fabric is the Punto Roma Elastic-Lyon, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane with a weight of 282 gr/m2. The fabric width is 150 cm and it has a very pleasant soft touch. The plain color printed on the fabric is Night Blue, whose CMYK content is 98 90 36 36.
Night Blue is an intense and deep color that evokes night and mystery. It is a secondary color that combines perfectly with warm tones such as gold, orange, and red, as well as with cool tones such as silver, purple, and green. This color is digitally printed on one side of the base fabric, allowing for high definition and precision of details.
The base fabric generally has a soft texture and a high degree of elasticity that makes it very comfortable to wear. In addition, it has great versatility that allows it to be used in a wide range of projects such as clothing, both for men and women, as well as in home textiles, such as napkins. Night Blue, for its part, stands out for its elegance and versatility, being an ideal color for winter clothing and to complement lighter or more intense colors in any type of project.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are very varied. From casual daily wear to more formal garments. In addition, due to its high elasticity, it is an ideal fabric for making trousers, skirts, or dresses that require certain mobility. It is important to consider the care for this fabric. It is necessary to avoid bleaching, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at a low temperature. Dry cleaning is recommended, except with trichloroethylene. With these cares, greater durability and quality of the base fabric and the printed plain color are guaranteed.
The printing technology used for Night Blue is sublimation, which consists of printing an ink on paper and then applying it to the base fabric with heat and pressure. In this way, the ink permanently adheres to the fabric fibers, achieving high definition of details and great durability of the printed color. This printing technique is ideal for producing designs with a high range of colors and details, even allowing printing of photographs and highly complex designs.
