The base fabric, Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, is a knit fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, with a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm. The solid printed color of the base fabric is "rosa pamporcino" (fuchsia pink), with a CMYK of 24 64 0 0, indicating a predominance of magenta in its composition. The secondary color, magenta, is associated with femininity, love, and passion, and pairs particularly well with neutral tones such as black, white, and gray.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the color is printed directly onto the fabric in a single pass. The fabric is not dyed entirely, but only the surface of one side is printed.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft and elastic texture, with an opaque finish and very good adaptability to the body. These characteristics, combined with the printed fuchsia pink color, make this fabric perfect for manufacturing lingerie, tops, knitwear, and fashion accessories. Additionally, its elasticity makes it ideal for sportswear.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is also recommended not to use trichloroethylene during dry cleaning, iron at a low temperature on the reverse side of the fabric, and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying special inks onto a transfer paper sheet and then transferring them to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technology allows for a high-quality and durable finish, with excellent definition of details and colors.
