The base fabric, known as Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, is composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, which gives it great elasticity and a soft touch. Its weight is 237 gr/m2 and its width is 152 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a beautiful amethyst purple shade, characterized by having the following CMYK values: 53 46 2 0. This color is a combination of blue and red tones, which give it great depth and sophistication. It combines perfectly with cream, beige, and black tones.
The fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, meaning the color has been applied only to one side and not through the fabric. Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric is soft, opaque, and elastic, making it perfect for lingerie and sportswear. In addition, it is ideal for making accessories and scrunchies. As for the printed color, its vibrancy and depth make it perfect for fashion and lingerie garments.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, its use in making briefs, bras and bralettes, fashion tops, and knitwear stands out. Likewise, its use is also ideal for scrapbooking and crafts.
It is important to note the care instructions for this fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron it at a cold temperature on the reverse side of the fabric to preserve its characteristics. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This process involves the transfer of a printed image through the vaporization of ink, which adheres to the fabric at a molecular level, giving it great durability and color fidelity.
